It looks like Apple is one company That Understands the future of speech recognition. On Friday, Apple Announced it had acquired a UK based speech recognition firm, Novauris, to assist in developing Their speech recognition platform Known as Siri. 

This May not seem like big news, but after the disappointments That some users have expressed with Siri, it's a step in the right direction.

Novauris Already has developed products for the IOS systems so the transition relatively Should be smooth for the Novauris employees that Apple are the main assets was pursuing. 

Novauris The founders of have a lot of experience Within the speech recognition tech community. The founders Jim Baker, Melvyn Hunt and John Bridle, Along with the current CEO Yoon Kim, Were key members of Dragon Systems Which was a leader in speech recognition.
